Djamila also announced the start of online sales for the English version of ‘Lugar de Fala’, with a foreword by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and translation by Padma Viswanathan:

“It was also the day that ‘Where We Stand’, the English edition of ‘Lugar de Fala’, was released and is available for sale on the Yale University Press website and soon in American bookstores. What joy to have the foreword written by the great Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and the beautiful translation by Padma Viswanathan,” she highlighted.
