With fashion direction by Flavia Lafer and article written by Maria Rita Alonso, the theme “Philosophy of Beauty” was the guiding thread of the interview. “It was a wonderful shoot that stirs the imagination of what it is to be a dark-skinned Black woman. I was absolutely blown away. This cover is already my favorite,” she stated.
